Our first St. Ambrose HSA car wash was a tremendous success. The family support selling tickets and laboring that day made it a fun and easy fundraiser. Our total profit was $2152.00.

This was a great start towards the funds needed in the upcoming months.

Trike-A-Thon - although this was not a HSA event, we were able to provide popsicles for the children riding their bikes and scooters, and were happy to see the parent support for these energetic little kids. It was a HOT day and we commend the children for their hard work.

Around the City Fundraiser - This is a no pressure opportunity. Books are still out there and money, orders, and books should be returned to the school by October 22. We appreciate your efforts, the HSA receives $10.00 for every book sold. We are responsible for all the books we received and sent out, so if you do not care to purchase or sell yours, please return them.

Pumpkin Patch - the tent is set to be placed on the parish lawn October 21. This is a very fun event. Classes are scheduled on a daily basis. Bring the kids while you work your hours - they play and also help people load the pumpkins in their cars. Each class will be scheduled to come pick out pumpkins for your children to purchase for $3.00. They will be transported to the pumpkin patch via a Hay Ride - this is a tradition, and the kids have a lot of fun. This year their will be a coloring contest for the school children. The drawings will be displayed at the pumpkin patch and the winner will receive THE LARGEST PUMPKIN IN THE PATCH!!!!

Family Fun Night - Mark your calendars for November 6, 6:30PM. We will have a short meeting to include past and upcoming events and also we will hear from our Carnival Committee regarding our annual event in March. 6:30 arrivial entitles you to a pizza and soda coupon (the children will eat while we are meeting). When the meeting ends - the FUN BEGINS. We plan carnival theme games, WII, family photo opportunity, raffles and 50/50. Popcorn, Cotton Candy and other snacks and drinks will be available for a minimal purchase price.

Family Advent Celebration - Date and time to be announced. Details will be available in the upcoming weeks.

Thanksgiving Luncheon - Tuesday November 24, parish center. This is a traditional Thanksgiving Luncheon that the HSA provides for the children. It is a great day to come and volunteer - the little ones perform and dress in costume.

January - we will be having a Spaghetti Dinner.
February - Valentine Grams.
March - Carnival
Easter - Seas Candy Sales.
Upcoming events are subject to change, but here is what we have on our calendar. As we take - we will be putting up pictures of our different sctivities.
